Jane Eyre

There are many elements in this novel that are connected to Victorian era and some feministic views of the society that are entirely unaccustomed for the nineteenth century that need to be explored. It also contains some gothic elements further into the novel that are essential for acquainting ourselves better with the main characters. The first few chapters serve for better understanding of the period in which Jane Eyre was written and about the author and her life, and some of the significant moments throughout her life that inspired her to write this novel.
