Electric car

An electric vehicle is powered by an electric motor, using the electrical energy stored in the battery, or by some other energy storage devices. Through its rich history, the development of an electric vehicle was very popular between the late 1800s and early 1900s. In spite of the fact that the first electric cars appeared at the beginning of the last century, the progress in their development is overshadowed by mass production and the use of cheaper petrol vehicles or internal combustion vehicles and, primarily, because of the oil lobby and disabling the development of appropriate batteries. Today and a few years ago, electric vehicles are returning in style and again a huge interest in electric vehicles arises. They were struck by the 1970s and 1980s energy crises, as well as the concerns about the rapid increase in oil prices and the need to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and also because of the huge advancement in the development and construction of new parts, vehicle design and improved battery performance. There are many advantages of electric vehicles in comparison to conventional internal combustion: no greenhouse gas emissions, less dependence on fossil fuels, higher engine efficiency, lower noise levels, etc. Nevertheless, for further development and global application of electric cars, it is necessary to solve several other significant obstacles, from which the largest limited capacity of batteries and the installation of renewable energy source.
