MACHINE PROCESSING
Abstract
Machine processing is a mass production method that includes automatic control of
work operations with maximum precision of processing in order to get the same quality
with each new product and absolute uniformity of multioriginal. Although this process
produces precise and identical pieces, they lack the warmth of human touch and
imperfection of manual processing. Machine processing is done on a machine that has
pre-defined tools used in processing. One of the main advantages of machine processing
is precision and processing speed. Since machines replace humans, the processing error
is minimized. Knowing the principles of machine processing with all its influencing
factors today is an important prerequisite not only for achieving quality products, but
also provides the basis for further studies of the principles of the production of such
machines and tools that according to their concept will completely correspond to the
required production optimum.

1. Introduction
In order for some material to be used for further use, it needs to be processed.
Processing is a process that changes the dimensions, shape, or some properties of the
material in order to be used later for the further process. Material as such can be
processed manually or mechanically. The choice of the processing method depends on
its later use.
A growing tendency to improve quality and increase productivity puts on the one hand
more and more stringent requirements regarding the accuracy of the design and
operation of the machine itself. On the other hand, the new constructive solutions on the
machines, in addition to improving, improving the tools and more precisely analyzing
the processing regimes, represent the means to satisfy not only requirements related to
productivity, but also on the economy of production.
Machine processing includes two basic groups: cutting process and process without
cutting. Machine processing with cutting both by number of machines and by their
diversity and application, takes place before processing without cutting. This, however,
should in no way diminish the importance of processing without cutting, which often
represents a significant opportunity for preparatory operations by replacing the
corresponding cutting operations with operations without cutting, but also these no
cutting operations can be high quality finishing operations. In doing so, processing
without cutting, may slowly but surely suppress certain operations with cutting, while
sometimes it is the only possible method of processing.

2. The term of Machine Processing
Is it is mentioned in the abstract of this seminar paper, machine processing can be
defined as a mass production method that includes automatic control of work operations
with maximum precision of processing in order to get the same quality with each new
product and absolute uniformity of multioriginal.
Machine processing includes two basic groups: cutting process and process without
cutting. While processing with cutting requires the shape of the workpiece is obtained
by removing the excess material by converting it into chips, while in the processing
without cutting, by moving one piece of material (plastic deformation) or separating one
part of the material from the other material gets the desired shape.
2.1. Hand processing
Manual processing is the processing of materials that use the tool with the power of the
muscles. The tool is a means by which we change the shape of the raw material, while
the tool is used by its power to control the tool.
2.2. Division of Machine Processing
Machining can be divided into machining by separating particles and machining without
separating particles. Mechanical processing by separation of particles is done on a tool
machine with pre-defined tools, in order to get a product of satisfactory quality in the
shortest time possible. Tool machines are machines in which a man manages the tool in
the production process. The basic task of machine tools is to replace human labor with
an increase in accuracy, productivity, economy and the other. Metal processing is a
change in the shape, dimensions or properties of metals for further use. It can be divided
into manual and machine processing.
Mechanical processing without separation of particles can be divided into plastic
forming (forging: pistons and presses, deep drawing, bending: bending of sheet metal
