Gift giving has become an important part not only in our lives, but also in the business. Some international companies have strict rules related to that when their employees can receive gifts, while at the same time in some Asian countries the ritual of gift giving is more important than the gift itself. Through gift giving the company sends a strong message to its employees or customers, but also it represents an image of the company itself, its business practice and culture of communication. By using gift giving, the company communicates with its customers and business partner and sends a message how important their partnership is. If we think about our relationships with other people, we can realize that gift giving is also part of our life. We use this practice in various occasions, whether it is a birthday, wedding, or some event such as death.
